HelloGina is a service provided by HelloBetter. This privacy policy contains information about how HelloBetter processes your personal data while using this website and HelloBetter’s online courses. HelloBetter is a trademark of the GET.ON Institut für Online Gesundheitstrainings GmbH, located at Schrammsweg 11, 20249 Hamburg,Germany (“HelloBetter”).

2. DATA PROCESSING WHEN USING HELLOBETTER COURSES
     2.1. Scope of the processing of personal data

HelloBetter collects the following information when using our online courses:
registration data such as email address, user name, phone number etc.
- registration data such as email address, user name, phone number etc.
- health data such as symptoms, mood, treatments etc.

     2.2. Data processing purposes

We process personal data of our users only insofar as this is necessary for the provision of a functional platform as well as our content and services. The health data collected during the training is used exclusively to carry out the course and thus to improve your state of health.

     2.3. Legal basis of data processing

We only process your personal information if you have given us your consent. If you do not give us your consent, participation in the online training is not possible.

You can revoke your consent to the processing of personal data at any time. You can do this in your profile settings. If you revoke your consent, you can no longer use the online course. Please note that the revocation is only effective for the future. Data processing that took place before the revocation is not affected.

     2.4. Recipients of personal data

In general, your medical data will not be passed on to third parties (e.g. your health insurance company). For the provision of our services, we use the Open Telekom Cloud, in which your data is stored. The operator is T-Systems International GmbH (Hahnstraße 43d, 60528Frankfurt am Main, Germany). Your data will be processed exclusively in Germany.

     2.5. Storage period of your data

As long as you use your account, your data will be stored. If you want to delete your data, you can do so within your profile settings. Data for billing purposes will be kept as long as required by legal retention periods.

3. SERVER LOGS

When you visit our website or use our services, technical connection data is processed that istransmitted to us by your device. This includes the following data:
• IP address
• Browser and version number
• Date and timestamp of the web page access

 The processing is carried out within the scope of our legitimate interest for the provision of our online platform, to secure our systems and to ensure technical functionality. Providing this data is necessary so that the retrieved content can be delivered to you. In principle, this data is not passed on to third parties. However, in the event of an attack on our systems, the data in question may be passed on to law enforcement authorities. The data is automatically deleted after six months, unless it is required for criminal proceedings.

4. PLUGINS AND REACH MEASUREMENT
     2.1. Google Analytics and Tag Manager

We use the services of Google Ireland Limited(Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) for the purposes of measuring reach and monitoring the success of advertising campaigns. These services include the web analysis service Google Analytics with the aid of Google TagManager.

Google Analytics is only used if you give your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google Analytics collects numerous data that allow conclusions to be drawn about your use of our website, e.g.
o  links clicked on,
o  time spent on a page,
o  browser name and version, operating system, country of origin, etc.

HelloBetter does not have direct access to the data collected by Google Analytics. These are only displayed to HelloBetter byGoogle in aggregated and anonymised form. Google may also enrich this data with additional data that Google receives through the use of other Google services(e.g. Google Search, Gmail, YouTube, etc.).

The storage period of the collected data is 13months. After that, this data is anonymised according to Google. Further information on data processing by Google can be found here.

You can prevent the collection as well as the processing of your personal data by Google by preventing third-party cookies from being stored on your computer, by using the “Do Not Track” function of a supporting browser, by deactivating the execution of script code in your browser or by installing a script blocker such as uBlock or Ghostery in your browser.

We use cookies to provide our platform. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device and contain information, e.g. on settings made. Insofar as cookies are technically necessary for the operation of the website, the processing of information stored therein is based on our legitimate interest in providing the function concerned.

5. Data privacy rights

HelloBetter enables you to exercise numerous data privacy rights via the profile settings within the online trainings and as such allows you to stay in control of your data. Please contact us to exert any rights that are not covered by the profile settings within the training itself.

     5.1. Information according to Article 15GDPR

You may request information about your personal data processed by HelloBetter, along with a copy of the data. In the online training, you have access to the data processed in the course of the training at any time.

     5. 2. Right of rectification

If your data is incorrect or incomplete, you have the right to request the correction or completion of your personal data. You can correct and complete your data via your profile settings within the online training.

     5.3. Deletion of your personal data

You can request the deletion of your personal data. You can perform a deletion of your data within the options in the profile settings by choosing the option to delete your account. Please note that this cannot be undone.

     5.4. Restriction of processing

You may request the restriction of the processing of your personal data under certain conditions, e.g
o  the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you;
o  the processing is unlawful and erasure of your personal data is refused by you;
o  the data is no longer needed for the purposes of processing, but you require it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims;
o  you have objected to the processing (see right of objection).

     5.5.   Data portability

You have the right to receive the personal data which you have provided to HelloBetter in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit those data to another company without hindrance from HelloBetter.

     5.6.   Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You have a right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.  

6. RIGHT OF OBJECTION

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of a legitimate interest of HelloBetter. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the purpose of establishing, exercising or defending legal claims.

7. AUTOMATED DECISION MAKING AND PROFILING

Automated decision-making or profiling that produces a legal effect concerning you does not take place.
